Help those who love people, those who change our world. One gesture at a time.
The Foundation
Sandra Chartrand and Alain Bouchard have been involved in the philanthropic community for many years. Wishing to leave a lasting and positive imprint now but also for future generations, and to invest more in causes that are close to their hearts, in 2012 they set up the Sandra and Alain Bouchard Foundation (FSAB).
Over the past decade, the FSAB financially supported a large number of organizations for a total of nearly $30M. These implications have allowed FSAB to better take the pulse of the needs and challenges of organizations.

Our fields of action
FSAB helps people reach their full potential. It essentially wants to allow artists and creators to sublimate their art for the benefit of all, and to allow people living with an intellectual disability to better integrate society by making a unique contribution.
Intellectual disability
Empowering intellectual disability, an achievable dream
We know how important it is to support the mission of organizations working with people living with an intellectual disability as well as research in this field.
Arts and culture
We believe in culture generating emotion
It occupies a prominent place in our society.
It is a universal language, and we express it in unison while living it in a thousand and one ways.
Our involvement
It is thanks to initiatives and collaborations that it is possible to set up great projects related to culture and education, to see to the well-being of individuals and to advance research.
Here are some examples of which we are very proud.
This program offers an introduction to the performing arts through workshops for individuals with functional limitations, allowing them to fully express themselves.
These programs are intended for youth and adults who are neurodivergent or have developmental disabilities (including autism spectrum disorders), youth in foster care and other groups requiring accessible services.
